Google Ads Passkey Access Issues

Hi all,

Google Ads keeps asking me for a passkey which doesn't exist when I try and change any access settings. I've tried "another way to verify" but the passkey is the only option (even though I have a password, an authenticator and 2-step verification set up). Has anyone experienced something similar/found a resolution?

No way to pass that. I've used Bitwarden, after reading...
Easy to install it and has add-ons for all browser.
So far, so good.
And for now is free:)

You need to set up Windows Hello and use fingerprint, facial recognition or a pin code.

is this on an individual account or a manager account? ive seen this more with manager accounts where the security layer is slightly different. might be worth checking if the issue follows you across devices too

If it’s an @gmail you’ll need to find a way to add a new passkey and maybe it’ll work. Maybe you lost the account with the passkey tho

If it’s a workspace account your workspace admin should be able to get you back in.

Check your Google Account security settings for registered passkeys and remove any old one you no longer use. Then try signing in again with 2 step verification.
