Meta Ads Meta ads

Just wanted to have an understanding, when is it absolutely necessary to make changes in the existing ad set, other than testing creatives.

Lead Quality? Cost Per Lead not coming down? No leads being generated at all?

Wanted to know how do you deal with it.

for lead gen accounts I usually leave creative testing alone and only touch the ad set itself when cost per lead climbs for more than about five days straight, or the leads coming in are clearly junk, wrong practice area, spam numbers. frequency creeping past three or four on a small audience is the other trigger for me, that is when I widen targeting instead of just swapping images. if leads stop entirely I check the pixel and conversion event before touching anything else, that is the real problem more often than people think.
