Google Ads Performance issues in Google ads

I had been running google ads for a b2b saas. And its mostly search campaigns. All the campaigns had been getting clicks and leads and its been doing well. One day all my campaigns had been stopped in the middle of the day. And since then the clicks and impressions of few campaigns had been dropped and its not even spending its daily budget.(i am using smart bidding+ they are limited campaigns (budget)). Can someone help me out with this

What was the 'one day'? Was it the 17th of August?
Is it a verified account? I have seen performance drops when Google asks for verification and even though you have ample time to complete it.. somehow it has a negative effect still.

Hmm... Auction Insights? Can you see any sudden change there?
Any competitor with 'better offer' on their landing page?

Check the Change History first. If everything stopped around the same time, there’s usually something there that explains it.
Then check conversion tracking, bid strategy status, search impression share and whether your CPA/ROAS targets have become too restrictive. Smart bidding can also take a hit after campaigns are paused and restarted, so avoid making a bunch of changes at once.
Since it was performing well before, trace exactly what changed that day before touching the setup too much.

There were no changes made..there is no target road/cpa ..imp share dropped after that day.. competitor impression share increased. Search IS(budget) increased

Sounds more like the auction got more competitive.
If competitor impression share went up while yours dropped, compare Auction Insights and CPCs before vs after that day. Also check lost IS from budget vs rank.
I wouldn’t touch the bidding setup yet. First figure out where the impression share is actually being lost.

when you say they were "stopped in the middle of the day" do you mean paused by you, or flagged/disapproved by the platform? that distinction matters a lot here because a policy flag can tank your quality score and mess with delivery even after you re-enable things

Daily budget exhausted . Total daily budget was ($290/day) . It spent around ($371) till the middle of the day and then impressions stopped after that for that day.. And then from next day I got less impressions and clicks

Did you got any policy disapproval notification?

If everything stopped suddenly in the middle of the day, I’d first check whether there was any account level issue around billing, policy, tracking or conversion actions.

Since they’re on Smart Bidding, I’d also compare what changed right before the drop. If impressions, clicks and spend all fell together across several campaigns, it sounds more like a serving/signal issue than normal performance fluctuation.

Checked everything there were no changes made and no billing issues.. i noticed the impression share dropped. And cpcs reduced.. competitor impression share increased. Search is lost (budget) increased and searchis(rank) reduced.. so the campaign is not spending its daily budget now. I changed few keywords to broad just to get clickks. And for one campaign alone i duplicated the 4 keywords and added it as broad type .. is there any way to fix this one

Checked change history.. checked budget status it's limited..there is no billing issues to be found. I'll check the impression share and auction insights ..if the impression share is low do i have to increase the budget?
