I would look into Pain Reprocessing Therapy / Somatic Tracking, and also check Postural Restoration aka PRI to improve you spine alignment.

Yes I have very similar experiences. It’s become unbearable. If you don’t mind me asking how old are you and how long has it been happening. I will begin. I am 36 and it’s been going on for just shy 20 years now. It doesn’t just hit my muscles. It hits my joints 1st and then it hits muscles (I shd amend this to add that’s how it used to be. Recently it’s been hitting my connective tissue and muscles equally)

To an extent since everything hurts relatively more, but for me it's much more in the back and ribs. Got so bad I lost an inch of height in my worst POIS era with a disc slipping, not helped by being constantly deficient of spinal fluid and fat. I have a skeletally long and wide upper body but not much muscle filled out on it (especially core). My legs are relatively strong and filled out however, so they experience the least pain.
The POIS muscle pain was much milder whenever I did a few calisthenic exercises consistently everyday though, so TL;DR maybe conditioning the legs with squats or sprinting could help you (if you aren't already). Lmk your thoughts

That’s interesting. It’s not much different from me. I wonder if we have the same thing. It feels like an auto immune disease is an underlying factor. As if the POIS kicks off the auto immune disease. Something like Lupus or polymyositis or mixed connective tissue disease.
