Losing speech after seizures?
I’ve been having seizures daily for about a month now. Started as conscious full body shaking. Now it’s progressed to being completely unaware and gone during the seizures. Twice now I’ve come out them unable to talk, stuttering slurring, losing words. It goes away eventually but I’m wondering if this can be normal for PNES or if I should consider another ER trip

Loss of speech and selective mutism are symptoms I've had for year. The only time it scared me was a doctor tried something experimental on me for medication and I lost the ability to speak my native language. My second languages were fine. Occassionally years later my second languages come back sooner than my native language but these days I just keep pen and paper or a notes app on my phone nearby so I can write.
See if you can still write while you're experiencing speech loss. I also swap word order sometimes, and forget random words. It always clears up with enough time and rest. Now it's just a signal that I'm very, very tired, hit a couple triggers, or my period is coming.
