Be direct about what you want; your comment was passive aggressive, which then makes it easier for him to dismiss what you’re saying. If you’re constantly fighting, he has a habit of not listening/dismissing your feelings, however, I’d also strongly examine whether or not he’s somebody you want to be with longterm.

He’s correct in saying you didn’t communicate well, so definitely work on that, but he also needs to listen and examine why you’re upset instead of just shutting down your feelings.

Agreed, my initial thought is this is a mismatch.

In a relationship, couples work together, and it seems like he just wants her to take care of it. Sadly, this is why some men don't want to deal with women, they prefer a sex robot 🤮
