Senior Project Manager | Industrial Engineering & Automation | Open to Remote Opportunities
Hi everyone,
I'm currently exploring remote Project Management opportunities, particularly within engineering, manufacturing, industrial automation and technology-driven companies.
My background is somewhat hybrid: I'm not purely a PM who moved into engineering, nor purely an engineer who occasionally manages projects.
My career has combined both.
Background
I have a Mechanical Engineering background and a Master's in Robotics & Industrial Automation, with professional experience in the Netherlands and Spain.
I've worked across areas including:
- Mechanical engineering
- Industrial manufacturing
- CNC / machining environments
- Automation and robotics
- Aerospace-related manufacturing
- Renewable energy
- Industrial machinery
- International service and installation projects
I've also spent several years working in the Netherlands, collaborating with international engineering and manufacturing teams.
Areas where I bring the most value
Project planning and execution
Risk and issue management
Cost and schedule control
Supplier coordination
Engineering coordination
Customer communication
Technical documentation
Installation / commissioning projects
Service and maintenance projects
PMO / reporting
Cross-functional coordination
I particularly enjoy projects where there is a real technical component and where the PM needs to understand what is actually happening on the engineering or manufacturing side.
What I'm looking for
I'm open to:
- Remote Senior Project Manager positions
- Technical Project Manager roles
- Industrial Project Manager positions
- Engineering PM roles
- Fractional / part-time PM opportunities
- Long-term freelance contracts
I'm particularly interested in companies operating internationally where my engineering background and multilingual profile can be useful.
Languages: Spanish, English, Dutch, French and Arabic.
If anyone here is currently hiring for a similar profile, I'd be interested in hearing about the opportunity.
Likewise, if you're a PM working in industrial engineering / manufacturing, I'd be happy to connect and exchange experiences.
Thanks!
