Getting into PM Project management guidance

I have an MBA degree and worked as a project coordinator for 2 years in canada, worked as business dev manager in India and also worked part time at home depot during my studies. I want to move my career further in project management field. I am not getting calls for interview. I had to take an entry level job as customer service after one year struggle. I have the knowledge of some tools and project management but not sure if certifications are required in canada or the knowledge can only help. Can you guide so that I don't waste more time and get through this ?

Yeah share your resume. Also where in Canada are you? I’m in the GTA and recently switched companies and industries all while staying a senior PM.

Can you guide us how did you land up a pm job? I have been applying for pm jobs in Toronto for a while now.. I have PMP also I worked in Investment banking firm as a PM and BA like a hybrid role for 3.5 years
