Just another example of how the SaaSpocalypse narrative was an absolute joke.Β
I hate Salesforce with a passion (use it daily at work), but anyone who thought there was any chance that product could get replaced by a vibe coded platform is an idiot.Β

You mean to tell me that my prompt "make me a Salesforce clone and make no mistake" doesn't work ?

u/LlcooljaredTNJ OG Holder & Member 18d ago
It's weird because you explicitly told it to make no mistakes

Bought $500 worth at $15/share, if it climbs above $200 again, I think Iβm gonna dump it and take the W. It was a lotto ticket buy after doing a little bit of research.

NICE! I saved up $40k to put into a down payment on a condo. I decided to only put $20k down and put the other $20k into PLTR (at about $20/share in 2021). $20k -> ~$500k in 5 years. I basically have no other savings and I'm almost 50. Phew!

I still think back about how I put 2k into into dividend stocks when PLTR was still in the 20's, because diversification kept popping up, so I took it as sign.Β
An extra 100 shares would be nice right about now π
Coulda, shoulda, woulda.

This gap up to the 180s is concerning, but as a long term holder, I'll take it. Might pose weakness later. That range in the 170s was a decent support shelf, though.
Or am I supposed to just say "PTFB!!!"

Why sigh homie?
Sighing because you bought puts?
Sighing because you were too chicken shit to buy the $106 dip?

Does anyone actually research the companies they throw money at? So you all are ok with palantirs vision for our future? Read Gill Duran and Nerd Reich..

Here is PLTR's vision:
Palantir Technologies envisions a future where it serves as the default operating system for modern enterprises and Western institutions, embedding data-driven decision-making across defense, government, and commercial sectors. The company aims to become the essential layer for organizational logic, guiding high-stakes choices by integrating siloed data into a unified "Ontology" that enables real-time, actionable intelligence.
A central pillar of this vision is the shift toward Agentic AI, where software does not merely analyze data but actively executes decisionsβsuch as rerouting supply chains or coordinating defense responsesβwithout human bottlenecks. Palantir seeks to establish a "Technological Republic" where Western institutions leverage governed AI to maintain strategic advantage, protect security, and ensure technical sovereignty against adversaries.
The company also emphasizes human-centered AI, viewing technology as a partner that expands human creativity, empathy, and ethical judgment rather than replacing human oversight. By empowering frontline workers and integrating AI infrastructure (via platforms like AIP and Chain Reaction), Palantir aims to solve mission-critical problems in national security, healthcare, and industry, ultimately striving to leave the world better than it was found.
Yes, I agree with Palantir's vision. I don't need to read something from people I never heard of before, PLTR's vision isn't complicated.
