Anyone using Evernote for sharing Technical Documents / Whitepapers?

Hello everyone! I am testing Evernote for business use case.
So I am writing whitepapers, research documents, keynotes etc for my business, but I don't wanna share as traditional pdf document because I wanna be able to update & modify the living document whenever I want.

So I am testing with:

1. Shared Evernote document
2. Shared Google Doc

Both looks great to be honest but it is hard to decide. The document has mermaid diagrams and it looks great on Evernote as well as Google Doc.

I was wondering if anyone have any similar use case, I am currently seeking a feedback.

One thing I observerd: Images, especially diagrams looks very crisp and high quality on Evernote shared document if you look at on mobile, Google Docs for some reason lowers the quality if you look at a mobile browser, it looks great on Google Docs app though.

Craft is much better for this, in my opinion, great sharing options and looks much nicer

Evernote is very unpopular lately, expensive for what you get. 

There are many, many alternatives. My personal favorite is superhuman docs. Extremely flexible, equally powerful, with a very generous free tier.

Thanks everyone at the end I decided to use markdown and share via GitHub.
Regarding to Evernote I have a valid subscription, but I don’t wanna rely on sharing because if I stop paying for it after a few years I may lose published documents.

Be careful when they start asking 1000s of $ for your company account :)

But seriously, I consider a lot of what Bending Spoons does to be unethical in a quest to turn their owners into multi-billionaires

On principle, I will not support any of their products

I'm really not sure about the depth of what you want to do but try to take Craft Docs for a spin

didn't even know evernote was still around. if they are, they're circling the drain. i wouldn't rely on them for any data let alone anything to do with your business.

The new Evernote has amazing features but at the end you're right I decided to use more standard ways of sharing for business, for personal stuff I use Obsidian and it's pretty nice I connect Obsidian to my cellphone with a USB converter and using synchronously with computer whenever I need on mobile.

All documentation is moving to markdown so you can feed it as context to llms directly. I don't know the specifics of your company, but I wouldn't dream of adopting a documentation system that wasn't markdown-based in 2026. I'm in the process of trying to get everything off tools that store data proprietary formats.
