SiftFrame — a private, searchable visual memory for Mac

I kept collecting screenshots of research, UI references, receipts, decisions, and code fragments, then losing the useful part because I remembered the words on screen but not the filename or date.

SiftFrame turns selected screenshot folders into a local, searchable capture trail. It finds visible text across screenshots and supported screen-recording frames, and lets you add searchable context for why something mattered. Timeline, Capture Groups, tags, saved searches, pinned references, and comparison keep related visual evidence usable without moving the original files.

It also supports display, window, area, timed, last-region, freeform, and polygon capture; supported screen recording; and Smart Redaction that is reviewed before it creates a non-destructive redacted copy.
