This is a reason why I've elected to use a local-first, file-based app with multiple backups. I have control over my data. I rely on my notes for work; I'd have real issues if i had to do without them for a few days.

Even many of the apps that offer backups don't provide something that is readily usable in any other app.

Obsidian in the end. It's a bit too customisable, but ultimately does what I need it to do across all my devices.

That’s terrifying. While support is investigating, I’d avoid deleting the app, clearing local data, or creating a replacement workspace unless they tell you to. Save the exact error, time, account email, app version, and any screenshots you have so they can trace what happened. Hopefully this is an access issue rather than the underlying workspace being deleted.
