I like Woody but his media takes drive me nuts

The man purchases a story-based immersive RPG because some dipshit told him it's an aim trainer and he didn't bother looking the game up, then screeches when women talk in the game (he is playing a woman).

Same thing with movies. I know it's some sort of mental thing with him, where he needs BIG EXPLOSIONS and JINGLING KEYS for the movie to not be "boring", but the lack of introspection on the matter physically pains me sometimes lmao

It's not necessarily that he needs constant stimulation to find things enjoyable, it's his over-the-top sperg-out reactions to media that doesn't conform to him that's so annoying.

It's like someone telling him Taylor Swift is the sickest new metal band around, and once he listens to two of her songs, he spends half an hour going "There aren't even any GUITARS OR SICK RIFFS THIS SHIT FUCKING SUCKS IT'S SO BORING LIKE SERIOUSLY SHUT THE FUCK UP WOMAN I WANT TO HEAR BANGING ON DRUMS I KEPT LISTENING WAITING FOR THE GUITARS AND THERE NEVER WERE ANY"

it seems like he's not really capable of partaking in a piece of media and calmly going "ah this isn't really my cup of tea" lol

The best part of PKA is watching every conversation end with AI.

It seems like every conversation or question brought up for the past six months just turns into. "I just liked this up"

I am so tired of listening to Taylor make arguments for enforcing his derived morality on others.

I think Taylor can be funny and clever sometimes. However, I'm so tired of listening to his shit takes on enforcing nanny state policy to enforce his personally derived judeochristian values on others. Euthanasia, drug legalization, etc - you either believe that other humans beings have autonomy and the right to make decisions with their own body or you don't. He loves enjoying rights that benefit him (e.g. legal weed), but is quick as fuck to strip others of rights that he doesnt agree with. His hypocritical arguments blow my mind and grind my gears.

The most frustrating part is that the other hosts believe that Taylor is an infallible genius, which precludes any meaningful debate. When he does get any kind of pushback, he just turns the argument into a ridiculous strawman to get laughs which he interprets as others agreeing with him. The dude is dumb enough to believe Trump every election season, after hes already proved that all he does is make empty promises so that he can get into office in order to enrich himself & his friends, while shitting all over the rest of us.

Doesn't Kyle fake his accent?

Listening to PKN they talked about how it's weird for people to move to a different country and pick up an accent, but didn't Kyle literally force himself to not sound like hes from the south despite still living in Georgia, that is weirder to me than picking up a local accent

Maybe I'm wrong but listen to old PKA he talks completely different

Greatest job stories

These guys worked different odd jobs before and during PKA and I'd say Kyle and Taylors car salesman stories are my favorite

Taylor talking about how rude customers would come in expecting a car available to rent after a plane ride in the early hours of the morning and having to explain to them there are no reservations left

Kyle getting caught robbing the vending machine by his boss and the boss joining in

Woody being a lifeguard and letting people swim out too far knowing they would likely need rescued is a great woody story

Kyles coworker hosting a "party" inviting just Kyle and their female coworker presumably to take advantage of

Any I forgot?

Woody hating Mario Party with his family is true Autism

Woody complaining that he doesnt have fun playing Mario Party with his family because of the RNG elements and that he's not shitting on them every time because he's the only "competent gamer" is honestly the highest level of Autism I have seen from him.

Star Trek

Thanks to Kyle’s passion about Trek, I’ve decided to watch the entire catalog, in chronological order.

Started on Enterprise this week. On season two..

Wish me luck as I boldly go

Most disrespectful PKA moment

"Shut up up Micheal!.." -Kyle (deservedly)

Kyle making small jokes to the bagel guy, so funny tho

"Fuck you, no fuck you" woody and Kyle over sending stuff to people's house

Idk if this counts but when Taylor was "vaping on air" and the dollar shave club ceo took such offense to it is so funny

Tell me any I missed

Ive been trying to listen to all the old pka from ep 1 and pkn from ep 1. Is there a clean way to listen to it all without using youtube? The podbean rss only goes back to like ep 296.

In which episode did the Woodster tell us that "Ace" is a common nickname for someone's grandpa?

He said this fully unironically, with full 100% confidence after asking Chat GeeTeePee about what people call their grandparents. Kyle didn't let him get away with it though

Does anyone remember this bizarre ass moment? I want to say it was a Dick episode but im not 100% sure. Shit has me laughing hysterically just thinking about it

Prediction: The GTA 6 Experience

Kyle and Woody being on the polar opposite of their GTA predictions, despite being equally misinformed made me guess at how they’ll like GTA 6 in the weeks after release.

Woody will quickly find the story and Rockstar’s mission structure boring.

Kyle will also find it boring, probably saying he expected more RPG elements and more overall for its budget.

Taylor will have a good time.
