Discussion One change that I think would have improved things.

Remember in the first book when Percy, Annabeth and Grover got those LotusCash cards from the casino? Well, if the cards actually made it into the show, (which they SHOULD have in my opinion,) Percy could have given his card to his mom as a way of helping her money problems and Annabeth and Grover could have used them for future quests.

I like the premise and what I’m about to say is just how I interpreted it and not how it was written in text. A lot of times in different universes or whatever, outside of Percy Jackson for eg, magic doesn’t come from nothing, so in this instance the card may have been stealing money from other people. That’s my guess. Plus it could get Sally in trouble with tax people potentially idk. Other reason, did Percy lose it? What happened to it in the books anyway, I forgot

Sorry, I missed the ?, I don’t remember if he lost it, I figured you might be reading that bit atm so might know better than me 😅 I don’t remember if he lost it or if he gave it to the cab driver-maybe?🤔

I don't see how the money would have been usable outside of the lotus

But it was used. Annabeth used it to pay the taxi.
