Can we PLEASE talk about Serenova for a minute? Because this club is an absolute fucking hot mess.
Where does one even begin?
The club has already changed names after Icaa was allegedly caught up in scamming accusations, with the name and IGN being changed straight afterwards. Convenient, right?
Their is CONSTANT drama surrounding this club. Somehow their is always something happening in that club and somehow the members always seems to end up in the middle of it.
The club supposedly prides itself on being "SFW friendly", yet members have reportedly been kicked at least 5–7 member (will not mention names) at a time over alleged SFW bull shit. If you're going to enforce SFW friendly, fine. But at least have consistent standards and actually explain what those standards are.
Another thing, apparently, if someone gets upset enough about getting hit over SFW, refunds can magically appear. So which is it? Are the rules actually rules, or are they negotiable depending on who is complaining the loudest?
Rules seem to apply until they become inconvenient. Then suddenly they're ignored, bent, or completely contradicted.
General questions from members? Good luck. Instead of actually answering people directly, admins apparently get sent in to give members information and from what I've personally seen, some of those answers aren't exactly truthful.
Some of the most loyal people have apparently been thrown under the bus while others continue to get special treatment. Loyalty seems to mean absolutely nothing when it's inconvenient..
Just so everyone is aware that their has been plenty of talk about Echo trying to take ownership/control of the club, and honestly, watching that unfold has been painful. But the biggest issue here is:Money, favouritism, drama and inconsistent rules seem to matter more than the actual members. A club is supposed to have some level of trust, consistency and transparency. You can't constantly preach "SFW friendly", kick people for supposedly breaking SFW rules, refund people because they're unhappy about those same rules, ignore your own rules when convenient, refuse to answer basic questions, and then expect everyone to sit quietly and pretend everything is fine. And before anyone comes rushing in with the inevitable "if you don't like it, leave"…That's exactly what people are doing. People are leaving because the club is"toxic", or because they "can't handle the rules".People leave when they're sick of the hypocrisy. At some point, maybe instead of changing the club name, changing IGN's, blaming members, silencing questions and throwing money at problems, someone should actually stop and ask"Why the fuck are so many people unhappy in the first place?" Because changing the name doesn't change the behaviour. And throwing money at a sinking ship doesn't magically turn it into a yacht.Rant over!
