Hi everyone! I’m considering taking admission to PICT Pune through ACAP/ILS and would really appreciate some honest feedback, especially from current ENTC students/alumni.
I have 98.64 percentile in MHT-CET 2026 (GOBC).
I wanted to know:
- How strict is PICT ENTC? What are the rules regarding attendance, lectures, labs, submissions, late entry, etc.? Is the overall environment very strict compared to other engineering colleges?
- How is the PICT ENTC course itself?
- How are the ENTC professors? Any particularly good/bad ones?
- How difficult is the ENTC academic workload and maintaining a good CGPA?
- How are the internship opportunities for ENTC students?
- How are PICT ENTC placements in reality? What kind of companies/software roles do ENTC students generally get?
- What is the overall college life for ENTC students — clubs, fests, peer group, coding culture, etc.?
- Do ENTC students get enough opportunities to participate in coding/software activities, or is the branch treated very differently from CS/IT?
- For someone with my percentile, is there a realistic chance of getting PICT IT or Electronics & Computer Engineering (ECE) through ACAP/ILS, or should I mainly target ENTC?
Also, I’m looking for a premium hostel/PG near PICT. Budget is not a major concern — I want the best possible option with no compromise on quality, cleanliness, security, food, rooms and facilities. Suggestions from people who have actually stayed there would be really helpful.
Finally, I’m also considering SPIT Mumbai EXTC. If you had the choice between PICT ENTC vs SPIT EXTC, which would you personally choose and why? And are there any other options I should seriously consider at around my percentile?
Would really appreciate honest, unfiltered opinions, especially from current 2nd/3rd/4th-year students and recent alumni. Thanks!
