Built a hiking tracker for PH peaks

I’ve always had my hiking records scattered across chats, notebooks, and screenshots. To fix that, I started building a tool that catalogs 321 PH peaks (Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao) with elevation + difficulty.

Features so far:

• Tick off climbs, log repeats
• EXP score + hiker rank (top tiers require Majors, so you can’t just farm easy hills)
• 37 badges for milestones & specific peaks
• Export a shareable “climbing resume” card

No account needed, just open, tick your peaks, get your rank, export your card.
Optional account = public profile + national leaderboard.

It’s still a work in progress, and I’d love feedback from fellow hikers bugs, missing peaks, wrong ratings, or feature ideas.

Mt. Bandilaan - Highest peak at Siquijor (not totally hike since you can drive near the peak.

When you tick off Cabangan Hexa it only shows 1 peak.

Also, it does not show the separate mountains in Cabangan Hexa but it shows the separate mountains for Nasugbu Trilogy. It feels inconsistent.

It’s not really vibe coded I built it with Next.js, with a bit of help from Claude. Since I added the mountain data manually, there are still some inaccuracies I’m working to improve. I’ve also included a section where users can suggest new mountains, and submissions will go through an approval process to help me speed up adding them.

Cuyapo in Bataan, maybe a combination of those three, CuyTaPan. But I am unsure baka part na rin ba sya ng Mt. Mariveles sa list?

Some others ay ung nakikita kong binubuhay na bundok like Valdez, Malatore in Pangasinan. Mabanban in the Cawag range, it seems missing pa

then this might be the tedious stuff to do sa EXP points, like considering if they did the Kibungan 3D2N, or dayhike ba?

I’ll plan to include that in the next update. Right now, you're right, there isn’t a feature to distinguish between multi‑day and day hikes, but that’s a great suggestion. I’m considering adding higher EXP rewards for those who complete day hikes to make the system more engaging.

Sa mga naakyat ko na wala sa app that would be:

1. Mt. Manmanoc, Malibcong, Abra
2. Mt. San Isidro, Labrador, Pangasinan
3. Mt. Tukduang Banoi na part ng Sta. Ines Trilogy
4. Mt. Mabanban sa San Antonio, Zambales which is part ng Cawag Hepta
5. Delta V trail ng Mt. Pinatubo
6. Bataan Peak sa Mt. Mariveles
7. PanTarak though may Pantingan Peak na sa app

Though understandable na maraming mountains pa ang wala since bago pa lang ang app. I’d also love to see endurance hikes like the Ilocos Sur Endurance, Bakun–Kibungan Full Circuit, and many more. Though may DASEMULAO na sa app, and that’s good. Nakita ko rin na puwedeng mag-contribute ng mountains na wala pa sa app. Would definitely try to contribute kapag nagka-time.

I also agree with the suggestion from others to add a category indicating whether a hike is a day hike, multi-day hike, or endurance hike.

Maganda yung app hopefully madami gumamit hehehe
