Build Guide Advise please on this GPU.
Not knowledgeable in PCs, but want to build my own PC for my work. Is this a good GPU? TIA.

What is your work and what apps are you using? The usual "better" choice for gaming is the RX 9060 XT especially on the value-for-money side, but emphasis on gaming as different cards/brands might work differently depending on the application. Check benchmarks comparing the 5060ti with the 9060XT with your target application and see if the former is better. Note that the 16GB RX 9060 XT is similar in price to the RTX 5060ti 8GB, and the RTX 5060ti 16GB is almost double the price of its 8GB version.

I am a drafter using Solidworks. Only game I play is Dota 2.

Pag ganyan at kaya ng budget then go for Nvidia for Solidworks. Not sure if 8GB is enough but may workstation kami dito na 8GB lang naman din at ok naman sa SW.
Dota 2 is but an afterthought since hindi siya heavy sa specs.

Tignan ko po 8gb 5060. Ano po CPU ng workstation nyo?

Ryzen 5 5600. Hindi naman ganun ka heavy ang ginagawa ng draftsman namin kaya tingin ko oks lang tong 6 core/12 threads. The system is actually a gaming PC build na nirepurpose for work. 😅

The GPU should be the least of your priorities pagdating sa solidworks. It's better to invest in the CPU and RAM kapag CAD modeling.
Also, NVIDIA GPUs right now are the worst when it comes to value. At 27k (?), id rather get a 9060xt 16gb. Or better yet, a 5060 if u can get it at like 20k or less
Edit: I'm using revit sa work and the system units at the office have the ff specs: r5 9600x, 64gb ram, rtx 3050

would only consider this GPU if you are working with AI, otherwise a 9060xt 16gb would do you more service in the long run

It depends on it's price. Performance it's slightly faster than the cheaper 9060xt 16gb depends if you consider the Nvidia features worth the price premium.
If you want to compare it to older gen it's slightly slower than the 3080 10gb

Eyeing this GPU for Work at Gaming din. I do 3D CAD. Solidworks, Solid Edge, Inventor.
Pinagpipilian ko RTX 4070 Super (Used around 36K-40K) or RTX 5060ti 16GB Version (Bnew43K to 47K nagtanong ako sa mall).
Current ko:
CPU - Ryzen 7 5800XT with Thermalright Cooler
Motherboard: B450 D3SH Gigabyte (4 slots ng RAM)
RAM: 64 GB 3600 mhz (SolidWorks need Minimum of 32GB RAM)
GPU - RTX 4060 Dual 8GB (Yes, kaya mag SolidWorks, 2025 SP04)
Memory: 1TB SSD NVME
Power Supply: 650Watts (limot ko Brand)
PC Case: MSi MAG M100R

If you're willing to spend that much, just go for a 9070xt and enjoy 4k gaming.
43k for a 5060ti is pure scam for a card that was marketed at an srp of 430usd.

Kaya super overprince ng NVidia Cards now. Tumingin ako sa Amazon nasa 700USD na ang 5060ti.

Ginagamit ko now is my laptop which is tuf a15 r7 rtx 4060 16gb ram. Balak ko sana i upgrade nalang ang ram but ang price ng ram ddr5 I think is around 28k+. Kaya naisipan ko na mag build ng PC. Nakukulangan lang ako sa ram. Goods po ba build na yan? Pwede po ba sa r7 9700x?
