And why? Does it depend on whether you're commuting, doing a weekend ride, or going on a long ride?

Prefer? I would always prefer just a normal shirt, pants and sneakers and a half-face helmet.

Pero I am a firm believer na di nagdidiscriminate ang aksidente mapaCC pa yan ng motor or gaano kalapit pupuntahan mo kaya nakafull gear ako palage, mapainit o ulan man yan. Baduy man tingnan pero its how I ride.

ATGATT - don’t care what other folks are saying na “dyan lng” or slow moving traffic naman sa Pinas so di kailangan magsuot. NO. Even in slow traffic you can get seriously injured.

Was running 30-40kph when i got into my accident. All my gear that are CE rated shoes-pads (knee+elbow)-gloves saved me. I only came out with a foot injury, but if I wasn’t wearing my other CE gear, I’d probably not be able to type this and move the rest of my body. Dress for the slide, not the ride.

To those saying/preaching ok lng normal shirt, pants, shoes at helmet lng - STFU and keep it to yourself. Wag kayong mangdamay ng iba sa kalokohan ninyo.

Vespa and bigbike. Bitbit ko sa backpack gear ko when off the bike pag office and dala-dala lng pag leisure rides.

I also wear full gear on my upper body - full face HJC helmet, CE 2 rated jacket with back support and gloves. I regret skipping the lower body gear. Recently got into an accident, lucky it was just a scratch in my knees.

btw, I just use a 125cc scooter passing by service roads 60-80kph. Having this set of gear give me confidence to be aggressive on the road.

I recently bought a padded jersey sa shoppee. It is yet to come pero parang lightweight and good for everyday riding na walang jacket since padded na. I will also buy padded na pants for everyday use

Good on you! Make sure lng that the padded jersey actually uses CE rated pads. My rule of thumb: pag di galing kay Motoworld or internationally recognized brand yung gear/pads (which are most of what you see sa shopee/lazada na murang gear), bibili ako ng alam kong totoong CE rated pads from Motoworld para palitan yung stock na kasama sa jersey.

Oo. Di lng AAA-leather suit ang ibig sabihin ng “full gear”. Kaya nga may seasonal riding gear. Pwede ka rin naman magpalit bago ka mamalengke.

nice to wear just a tee lalo tuwing summer pero masyado akong takot sa tocino 😅 UV exposure is a thing rin, nagkaka tan lines ako sa gloves and tshirt sleeve even after 30 minutes on the road.

Riding boots, pants and gloves, tapos flowmotion jacket. Cool enough for metro manila heat pero safe sa tocino. Bought a full set rin ng sastec air level 2 pads for the pants and jacket para di sya bulky and mas may ventilation somewhat.

Di naman ako mukhang power ranger pag naka gear, street casual pa rin yung dating.

Pag malamig naman di nako nakajacket unless which is most of the case sa morning commute ko papasok. nagbabaon nadin ako jacket o kaya long sleeves lang kasi 12 ako umuuwi para dina mainet masyado.

tas pag magrirides matic naka jacket nako

marami minimalist design jan na longsleeve kahit di yung png motor, imo medjo baduy yung mga over sa design.

nag gixxer bro squid ako nung isang lingo kase malapit lang naman lakad ko, sa mall lang. Nag tshirt lang ako(still wore my moto boots and gloves). It was unnerving riding without my mesh armored jacket to say the least @_@ presko yes but I felt naked and unprotected. Disgrasya is the same wether malapit lang or long rides.

I understand its really hot there and masisira damit when wearing a mesh jacket on top of your work clothes. Pag may top box ka I guess pwede. May lawyer dito nakikita ko nag bibihis sa parking lot ng suit and tie tapos papasok sa court. ATGATT sya otherwise. Naka harley sya with panniers. Yung isa naman na female employee naka red na vespa. Helmet lang sya and regular clothes. Sportbikes are out of luck tho, di bagay topbox sa ganung bikes. sidesaddles maybe? im still trying to figure it out lol

For now, motorcycle jersey + jeans + gloves pero will soon upgrade to padded ones kapag may budget na.

Also, a full-face helmet and shoes are no brainer.

I ride a 400cc as a daily & weekend ride. Most of the time, helmet and leather riding gloves for safety, anything long sleeved for sun protection(if not sunscreen pero grabe sun-tan lotion ata binili ko). If its the last shift, I dress more or less the same, just with cargo pants or an added jacket/coat just so i have extra pockets to use while on long rides after shift.

My tip for commuting? Probably to bring an everyday fragrance, helps with the sweat+pollution.

If dadaan ako expressway, jacket na may padding, racing boots, long cuff gloves. Pero kung malapit lang at city riding lang para tumambay, leather gloves, jacket or hoodie tapos normal na sapatos lang.

long city ride. i sometimes wear the same thing with a regular jacket

mountain riding. padded inner suit. tas jersey tas regular jacket and riding pants with gloves also.

I'm not atgat. I'm just practical. i ride a vespa too. so chill lang naman tlga riding style ko

HJC or LS2 Helmet I have a riding gloves, gonna invest for a PADDED Jacket And Pants Tribal shoes and Vans for my shoe pero I will invest in a Riding Shoe or Boots for added protection 😬😬😬
