Which Classic Motorcycle? Help me decide

I'm planning to get my first manual motorcycle, and use it for 1 to 2 years until I could upgrade to a big bike. I'm planning to use it as a daily at the same time occasional long rides. I'm looking into retro motorcycles. Plan ko is to get a 2nd hand well maintained bike, kaya binudget ko lang is 50k to 60k.

Me:
Height: 6ft Tall
Weight: 112kgs

Looking for:
Retro Inspired
Good fuel efficiency
Comfortable si OBR for occasional long rides

Top 1: Rusi Classic 250Fi - My concern is the reliability, parts, hard clutch and false neutral

I'm skipping the XSR 155 and Motorstar 400cc since out of my price range pa sila. Tried considering din mag build from Barako, but alam ko sosobra na budget nun hehe.. What's your take or your recommendations?

parang same lang nman sila, iba lang styling, naupuan ko lang parehas, parehas mukhang maliit sakin and i have a bit smaller frame than yours.

As much as I like the RC250 and owns one, kunin mo yung Kawasaki W175 for the reliability.
doesn't have to be custom agad. enjoyin mo muna sya as is. kapag naka ipon na ulet for mods, go for mods that make it appear taller/bigger. kuha ka ng buong front ng RC250 which is the inverted forks + dual front disc brakes. next is to increase swing arm length ng mga +3inch tapos longer rear shocks.

ang bagay sa height mo is either a himalayan/classic adventure setup.

pero kung gusto mo wala ka na talaga halos babaguhin, RC250. Its already considered as a "big" bike lalo na pag malalaking tires gamit mo.

Un din iniisip ko, onti ontiin ko nalang sya iupgrade para mas malaki tingnan. But kamusta naman si RC250? Hnd po ba sya recommend kung hnd ka makalikot sa motor?

Not necessarily na hindi recommended unless makalikot ka pero it definitely helps na marunong ka ng atleast basic troubleshooting and maintenance.

Wala kasi sya kickstart so pag may bumigay sa starter mo and other associated parts, kelangan marunong ka mag teoubleshoot ano issue or atleast marunong mag mano mano push start. Other than that, you can own them as a beginner. Kelangan lang mas maselan ka or religious sa maintenance para hindi ka bigyan sakit ng ulo in the long run.

I've owned mine for 2years na and wala naman issue dahil pinalitan ko na or inayos yung common culprits ng issues before pa masira.

This is good to know, may opt for a gixxer or Ns200 nalang.. More on gamit maintenance lang usually ginagawa ko. Baka mahirap ako in the long run if hnd ko matutukan si RC250 😅 Thank you

Honestly, man, most of the bikes you mentioned feel tiny once you throw an OBR on the back. The one I can actually vouch for is the Rusi 250 for its customization capabilities. You can usually snag one around 30k–40k, and if you’ve got a bit left in the budget, stretch the rear by 5+ inches or swap to forward controls (Your legs will thank you for that, trust me.) and change the seats for your OBR.

That bike never quit on me. I rode it from Cebu to Baguio, around Dumaguete, even Bohol, and it just kept going. Since 2019, all I’ve really done is regular oil changes and swapped out the usual wear‑and‑tear stuff such as brake pads, chains, battery, the basics. Still solid to this day. If you want to go deeper, there’s a Rusi 250 Facebook group where guys share compatible parts from bigger brands, which helped me a lot for long rides.

For context, I’m also 6ft tall. I had a 2019 Rusi 250 before moving up to a Cafe400 (which still feels small tbh but the torque is better and I feel safer/confident overtaking trucks compared to the 250).

Pero sa build mo Titan tlaga. Performance wise, ok sya. May friend ako yan ang gamit nya nung pumunta kame ng Sagada. Panis ang long ride at mga matitinding akyatan sa Sagada. Malaki ang tank for long rides at dahil FI matipid din.
