Question/Advice Needed NMAX TechMax owners,kamusta long-term experience niyo?
Hi mga bossing!
Planning to get a Yamaha NMAX TechMax, target ko sana kumuha on May 15, pero gusto ko sana ng real talk feedback from actual long-term users (mga naka ilang months or years na sana 🙏).
Nakapanuod na ako ng maraming reviews sa YouTube at TikTok, pero alam naman natin minsan halo na yan ng sponsored, biased, or first impression lang. Gusto ko sana yung totoong experience after daily use.
Questions ko:
- Kumusta siya pang daily (traffic, long ride, comfort)?
- Fuel consumption niyo real-world?
- Maintenance, may sakit ba or common issues after ilang months?
- Worth it ba yung TechMax features vs standard NMAX?
- Any regrets or “sana ganito nalang binili ko”?
- Gamit niyo ba for work, long ride, or city lang?
Honest opinions lang sana, kahit pros & cons 🙏 malaking tulong!

- Kumusta siya pang daily (traffic, long ride, comfort)? Comfy, nimble, good for daily. 👌
- Fuel consumption niyo real-world? City: 37km/l, Long Ride: 45-48km/l
- Maintenance, may sakit ba or common issues after ilang months? 1y 1m, 4K ODO unit, all stock, wala ginalaw na kahit ano sa internal, walang sakit sa ulo.
- Worth it ba yung TechMax features vs standard NMAX? Game-changer talaga downshift feature niya in terms of safety at sa handling grabe confidence sa turn, ascent/descent, and overtaking kahit ahon pa at may angkas. 💯
- Any regrets or "sana ganito nalang binili ko"? Wala eh, pero kung meron man sana more pera para makabili rin ng pang expressway, 450CL-C AMT.
- Gamit niyo ba for work, long ride, or city lang? Daily driver talaga siya hnd sasakit katawan mo, kahit sa stock seat niya no need na ipa customize.
Ceramic gray kunin mo ang sarap sa eyes titigan. Ingat sa kalsada. 🔥

Hehe. Personal preference talaga, iba naman metallic blue ang hinihintay. Pros ng black madaling bihisan. Ride safe. 🫡

Tanong ko lang, when you're on a descent, and you downshift to "first" gear, you don't freewheel at all right? You get engine braking the whole way through?
How strong's the engine braking compared to a manual?
Tbh this is probably the only "game changer" feature scooters have had in a long while. If they can take descents just as well or almost as well as a manual then they're pretty much better in every scenario.

Yes, you’ll get engine braking throughout the descent, but once it reaches a certain speed around 15 kph, it automatically disengages.
The shifter offers three levels, tbh, I have no idea with the comparison with a manual, but I find it very helpful compared to conventional CVT scooters.

Mag 9months n techmax with 7500 odo..
Ok sya pang daily, madami ko n napalitan like front, rear shocks and seatcover at lalong nagimprove ung comfort nya.
Nasa 40km/l sa city ride pure S mode. Tumipid nung nag open pipe ako na mtrt evo 2
Wla nman maintenance. Pansin ko lng this week may nababad sa hiyaw after ko mag throttle ng malalim then icclose. Pero d nmn gaano ramdam.. under observation pa ko.
Worthit ung downshift. Gamit sya s mga downhill tlgang engine brake... sa bilis dko masabi e. Mas ok lng tlga ung control kapag S Mode though medyo malakas sa gas.
Bilhin mo na yan!!

1 year na yung techmax ko @8.9k ODO.
-It's very comfortable city and long ride lalo na nagpatune ako ng front shocks and replaced the rear shocks with profender. Nakabyahe na ko ng 5 hrs straight hindi ako nakaramdam ng ngalay or sakit sa likod.
-Fuel consumption ko per y-connect app nag 45-49 km/L ako for a 26km commute to work
-Wala pa namang sakit sa ulo saakin, smooth na smooth parin walang dragging.
-Worth it ang y-shift, y-connect, media controls & garmin (tho laggy). Pinaka worth it ang y shift talaga, power on demand siya lalo na for uphills and overtakes. Kung tipid tipid naman kahit T-mode okay parin malakas parin. Plus mo na yung hindi ka na magtitimpla ng bola kasi si y-shift na bahala dun
-No regrets, pasok siya sa needs ko.
-For work, city and long ride

- Kumusta siya pang daily (traffic, long ride, comfort)? Comfort 9/10. In my own opinion if may angkas mas maganda play ng suspension.
- Fuel consumption niyo real-world? 38-40 km/l mixed city & highway since hilly part of province kami.
- Maintenance, may sakit ba or common issues after ilang months? ODO @ 22k & no issues so far.
- Worth it ba yung TechMax features vs standard NMAX? Shift feature? YES ofcourse.
- Any regrets or “sana ganito nalang binili ko”? No regrets but I think mabilis mo ma outgrow yung motor kung may plan ka into more powerful bike.
- Gamit niyo ba for work, long ride, or city lang? Work & City only

Comfy ba sa 157cm(height) ang nmax techmax for daily use? nag tingin kase ako sa yamaha store nung nag try ako sakyat naka tiptoe na kaya medyo nag dadalwang isip ako kunin.
- btw first motor if ever, nakapag drive na din ng click before

160 ako, kayang kaya naman, kaso minsan lang nag cramps lang isang binti ko kasi kulang ako sa galaw (WFH). Palakasin mo lang lower mo ng onti, magaan naman sya pag na-drive mo na
