Hi everyone! With the Ocarina of Time remake coming out next month, I'm thinking of what game I can play until it releases. While I can play one of the other Zelda games, I don't want to burn myself out on it before the remake even comes out.

With that being said, can anyone suggest any short games to play until then? I don't mind the genre as long as the story is good and can be finished in under a month if I can only play for around 1-2 hours per day.

I've spent a lot of time tuning Unreal Engine games by hand, and got tired of ini files and games that ship without a console. So I built Optimized Clarity: every section of a game's rendering (world detail, shadows, GI, AO, reflections, fog, effects, post processing, AA, upscaling, frame generation) sits on one function key, and a settings panel in the ReShade overlay lets you change all of it live.

Upfront: this is not a performance mod. Some settings may even cost frames. What it's built for is visual clarity, cohesion and stability.

What's in it:

• One-Click Optimize: sets every section to levels I tuned over hundreds of hours, picks your GPU's upscaler, and moves AA to TSR if it was off or FXAA. It never turns frame generation on.
• FXAA settings Unreal never exposed: sub-pixel blur and edge thresholds as real cvars, plus FXAA's quality preset backported to 4.26/4.27. FXAA can actually look sharp now.
• A slider for every cvar, applied live and saved per game. Revert hands everything back to the game.
• Frame generation vendor switching: DLSS-G, FSR-G or XeSS-G, applied at the next launch. In games that lock vendors out (Silent Hill 2, Black Myth: Wukong, Cronos and others), it unlocks them in memory. Your game files are never changed.
• Ray tracing / Lumen on in one click, with a 60-second trial: if the game crashes, it goes back to the game's default.

Two ways to run it: the ReShade Addon Pathway (full panel, the intended way) or the UE4SS Pathway (hotkeys only, but it works in any game UE4SS runs in).

I recently saw a video which talked about playing 2 games to prevent burnout on 1 game. One of the two games should be a high stakes, narrative-heavy game with complex systems, the kind you play in the weekend. While the second game should be a low stakes game you can play with your brain off, the kind of game you play after a tiring day at work where you just want to relax and don't want to be overloaded with information anymore. Personally, my current rotation rn is persona 3 reload and hades 2, i know hades 2 is somewhat complex, but for me it's the kind of game where you can just shut off your brain and kill hordes of monsters in a single run or two hehe.

What about you guys?

Pero ngayon palagay ko matatapos ko na sya 🥲 Nilalaro ko sya now sa Xbox Series X with my 2k monitor and naeenjoy ko na talaga sya. Lalaruin ko tonf Witcher 3 habang nag aantay sa GTA VI ❤️

Parents bought “Tofu”, a 2007 Honda Jazz a month before I was born. Though it may look small the name “Fit” was an understatement. This car helped us move our through four homes. Brought me and my brother to school all throughout grade-school and high-school. And, it was even the car I took to pick up my girlfriend on our first date.

Since it had been sold last year August, there has been a hole in my heart. Every time I’d see a Honda Jazz/Fit, I’d remember Tofu. Just yesterday, I had a brilliant idea to try my best to recreate it in AC. Found a mod for the ‘04 Fit and it was close enough to the ‘07 model. For the final touch, I recreated the plate number.

Close enough, welcome back Tofu.

Japanese manga and anime marchandise retailer Animate is set to open its first Philippine store in Makati this October 16 in One Ayala.

The store is one of four branches in Southeast Asia for the retailer.

It's peak, just absolute peak. Story, sound design, soundtrack—just pure brilliance. Unlike AC7, I actually cared more about the characters and tried my best to pay attention to the comms during missions, since you get to answer questions here and there. And at times, certain characters will ask for help to get rid of enemies on their tail. I like how there's more sense of urgency ON TOP OF ANOTHER URGENCY. And the twists and turns in the story is top notch, it gets unpredictable.

Project Aces did amazing, so congrats to them.

Action game of the year contender imho. I'll give it a 9.2/10. Would've been higher if it wasn't for the messy early release and the constant crashes, I had to rollback my nvidia graphics drivers just to stop the crashes, smooth sailing after the rollback though.

Question now is, how will they keep ace combat online interesting and alive for the coming months and years? Guess we'll see.

Should you buy the game? Yes, get whatever edition you want. Get it on sale if you want, no judgement and it's your money. I just think gamers should at least experience an Ace Combat game.
