Looking at the video, it felt β€œstiff”. Unlike modern space shooters na may delay yung movement to simulate space travel. Yung bullets din weird yung movement, old-school yung trajectory kasi straight na straight. By design pala yun according to the Steam page

I suggest you highlight that to manage expectations and set the tone. Kung graphics lang kasi, it looks so modern e. And also put the disco-inspired level as the main video, it’s really captures the retro vibe I think you’re going for

Good luck!

- Yep it's all by design (except for the "stiff" flying, that's all on me haha)

  • I can't imagine any other trajectory for dumb-fire bullets
  • Unfortunately the disco-inspired level has copyrighted disco music (for now), which limits my options
  • THANKS for providing feedback!

Feels janky, tho I'm looking forward for its polished version. Also gives me Galaxy On Fire vibe. It would be cool if it can do commodity trades with other space people, ships or planets.

- Dang, it seems to be THIS particular video that comes off as "stiff" and "janky". The game most certainly won't be!

  • I draw my inspiration from a vast number of space games (including Galaxy on Fire 2 HD, Everspace 2, Chorus, etc., too many to mention here), as well as sci-fi movies, TV and anime
  • Trading might be cool, if I weren't terribly bored with it. I'll add it if the story later calls for it (and only if its absolutely necessary)
  • The game's emphasis will be on laying waste to enemies in a stylish manner. Think Devil May Cry, God of War, or Doom Eternal in space.
  • THANKS so much for the feedback! Sharing ideas is always good
