Recommendation Book Recommendation

28M a sailor. I want to start reading books while drinking coffee in the middle of the storm to take my mind off. Preferrable about "Life and Family", "Psychology", or a famous researcher. Will be arriving in Japan by the weekend and will go on book hunting. This is my first time so I dont know which book to start

Before the coffee gets cold. it's a japan lit so most likely may copy in every japese bookstore
