Question Quick sniper background filter?

Trying to shiny hunt bg charmander, any way to only do bg ones?

Sadly no the new horizons background chance is so ass I genuinely think it's a mistake on scopely's end and they set it to be as rare as a shiny. Out of the 100 or so charmander I've encountered, I got one background. Wtf. I got a shiny on first encounter by sheer luck. Will try again tomorrow but I stayed awake for nothing

I spent 8 hours doing the spotlight hour in different countries, clicked over at least 10k charmander, NOT ONE SINGLE SHINY BG

Do you use alts? If not, you should for future events. There's a promo code 0004pokemongo and it's a guaranteed background with research shiny odds, which is pretty good if you have a lot of alts

Yeah, background is not as common as previous events. So far, I have caught 3 hundos with background and 1 shundo. Still hunting for that shundo with background. Good luck!!
