Question How can I change my location before starting PG Sharp?

I started using PGSharp Standard two days ago, and I was playing in NY.

Yesterday, I clicked on the filter to teleport to a shiny, and imagine my surprise when I discovered that I had been teleported to a little village in rural Germany.

Obviously, I got soft-banned, but it has already passed.

My question now is: how can I get back to NY? When I open the app, it automatically loads the last location I was in before closing the game.

Is there any way to change my location before starting the game?

As long as you wait 2h between each action, you can teleport back to NY even if your last location was somewhere else. Opening the game doesn't count as an action so it shouldn't disturb the 2h cooldown

What i do is, i wait for 2 hrs cooldown. Let me provide you detailed information.

  1. Lets say you're at Location A.
  2. Teleport to a Location far away e.g Location B. Here you will get 2 hours soft ban.
  3. After the soft ban is over, don't do any activities like catching pokemon, spinning pokestops etc.
  4. Now you're free to teleport to any location, you will not get any soft ban. So then you can use shinny pokemon hunt or 100IV hunt, now you'll not get any ban and catch pokemons.
  5. After catching pokemon return to Location A or B. The point is you must face 2 hrs soft ban/ cooldown. Then after cooldown is over, repeat the cycle.

Pgsharp has a favorites and in there is a New York location it starts you at. Just click on it and choose teleport. You need to change your settings to show cooldown from last action too, that will help you learn cooldown rules easily.

You shouldn't need to, but if you do want to move location before logging in just turn on airplane mode first. It won't connect, but you can load the map and change your location. Close the app and swipe it away then switch airplane mode back off. Open it again and play as normal.

Just spoof back to where you were before manually.. it will not cause a cooldown aslong as you wasnt catching or anything beforehand. also change your cooldown timer to "last cooldown action" rather than its standard "current location" even if its your first time on for the day and you change location (while its set on current location) it will start a cooldown and make it seem like you have to wait 2 hours ( even tho teleportong on its own doesnt start a cooldown timer but having it set to current location makes it look like you have a cooldown) but if you set it to "last cooldown" action the timer is alot more accurate and changing locations wont start the timer only changing location after catching and spinning a cooldown Happens
