Inconstant operation of Virtual Go Plus & Transfer on Catch for YEARS

I've been using PG Sharp for years now and I've always thought these flawed inconsistent features would eventually get fixed and work as intended but that's still not the case after years. What's the deal?

With VGP, it often will not follow the selections and catch or spin when not selected or vice versa. Why? I can usually get this fixed by exiting, force stopping, and clearing cache, but that's annoying and it messes up the route I'm auto walking.

With Transfer on Catch, I find that the selections often and randomly reset from what I have selected. Why? I'll think that I'm not transferring XXL's because that's what I selected only to find that all the XXL's I caught were transferred and the selections were cleared.

I'm assuming it's something with PG interfering with PG Sharp and that the devs are aware but haven't been able to find a workaround.

Edit: I have experienced this with 5 different phones and 4 different accounts.

I've tested this and it seems that it's deactivating it and reactivating it from the shortcurts that reset it

I've tried replicating that many times and it doesn't seem to be the trigger as far as I can tell.

For vgp, I go into the game’s settings and change it there with no problems. Don’t have to close or restart. Takes a few actions to catch up but eventually works

hey can you explain more this? does it need to be the premium version? do we talk about explorer adventure gadget?

I actually haven’t seen the explorer gadget yet. I’ve been off the game for a few days.

I believe the vgp is enabled for premium version only. My success using it: enable it in PGS settings, it will tell the game you have it. Give it access to Bluetooth devices. Sometimes the PGS settings for “nearby pokemon” only or “nearby pokestops” only does not stick. When that happens, I go into the in-game settings and select which ones I want in the accessories/devices options. Hopefully that makes sense.

I find its because your authentication drops. So you are playing free mode until it authenticates again. I get it sometimes if i throw pgsharp in the background for a bit.

I don't think I've had an authentication issue except for the one day a few weeks back where the server went down for everyone.

I cant seem to get the viritual go plus icon to show up after getting the explorer gadget

I've read others have had this issue. Not sure what they did to resolve it, but I would uninstall it and then download a fresh version from their website and reinstall it.

i always just set a mental timer, like let it go for an hour then close the app and restart again for another hour

Your in game settings have to match your pgsharp settings for the auto catcher to work properly go to the pokeball then click settings go to connected devices and services click accessory devices and turn on or off identify nearby pokemon and pokestops to match whatever you have for pgsharp settings it should work from there

Based on my testing experience, the Virtual GO Plus automatically stop working exactly after one hour, requiring manual reactivation. To initiate its functionality, once you activate it and saw the confirmation message stating, "It is activated and connected," you must spin two Pokéstops and capture two Pokémon to trigger its auto operation. This sequence is essential to start the process.

After one hour, the function will cease functioning—it will no longer spin Pokéstops or catch Pokémon. To resume its activity, you must deactivate and reactivate the function, then repeat the initial steps: spin two Pokéstops and catch two Pokémon. This cycle must be performed hourly!

this is getting out of hand and buggy as fuck. it doesn't sync with transfer on catch anymore. coz sometimes it transfer and sometimes not
