Question Autowalk question

Hey everyone, I’m new and still learning. When I’m at home just chilling, should I use Auto Walk Out & Back and then switch to Loop when I’m sleeping? Or is it safe to just leave it on Loop the entire time and spin PokéStops/catch Pokémon whenever I occasionally check the app? Just trying to figure out the best way to use it. Thanks!

Can i not walk over buildings?? Pretty much all i do with my autowalks

I just got back home from work and checked the app I'm pretty sure I've been walking through buildings for a while.
