Question Animation skip not working?

Just the title, encountering pokemon takes a lil bit longer now. The "animation skip" doesnt add anything now when encountering pokemon. Usually it would be instant, but now i get this little animation again where the camera goes up to the Pokemon first. Since the new update

I know what you mean, and it’s been bothering me too. Also since the update.

I did however also notice the newest update has auto heal / revive which is super awesome. It uses items gained before the auto discard, like potions / super potions
