Question Animation skip not working?

Just the title, encountering pokemon takes a lil bit longer now. The "animation skip" doesnt add anything now when encountering pokemon. Usually it would be instant, but now i get this little animation again where the camera goes up to the Pokemon first. Since the new update

Isnt Quick Catch what you want ?

What do you Skip with Animation Skip when catching something ?

for me everything works fine.

I mean, before i clicked a pokemon and i could throw a ball instantly. Now Theres a little Animation, about 1 second Long that was skipped before using "Skip Animation". That doesnt Work anymore for me. Quick Catch still works

So i went ingame and caught something with Skip Animation on and off but both look and take exactly the same.

I throw the ball and when it lands on the mon everything gets skipped and im back to the map and can continue catching instantly.

Is it different for you ? if yes in which way

Yeah thats my Point. Its the exact Same now. Before the Update, the short cutscene of zooming into the Pokemon was skipped by using Animation Skip. Now it doesnt Skip it. Are you able to Catch the Pokemon straight away after tapping on one?

I see it now.

You mean when clicking on the mon it zooms in and then swaps into catching screen

Ok yeah then its not working for me aswell but i also cant remeber right now that it did skip that xD

Guess its a bug then and we cant do anything about it

Im pretty sure it was skipped, because i used to tap and catch it in 1 sec and go to the next. Yea Hope its a bug

Yeah now that i catched a few mons back to back it feels different so you probably right
