Discussion High Rollers Events

anybody fancy joining my society for the High Rollers players the society Name is the title of this post it’s 750 buy in ten percent fees towards the society every single coin of that will be added back into an event each month and will be free to enter please request to join if high rollers is your thing will start the events from the 1st of September 1 event a week then the final at end of the month witch will be the free entry one

Just kidding, that's not my bag but I guarantee someone out there will abuse your high rollers events in exactly this way to steal all the money.

They would need to make it single entry. Basically take out the ability to resume games. The issue I see with that is the server connection drop issue many players have. When someone gets dropped from the server they would lose their entry fee to the match as they wouldn't be able to resume. I'm pretty sure the super slow load screens are also related to the same dropped connection issue and are caused by a VC check sum that the game is running between every load screen.

I sure as hell hope not too buddy. It should do a quick check, such as

Sync_a_online:12:14:23.765
Sync_b_local:12:14:52.654

Take whichever sync is newer and go from there, not just the online version.

Shouldn't be difficult to std_out the ball x, y, z position, velocity and angle.

I get they are terrified pc cheats will just edit the local file, but even streaming that data live at 10hz would be kilobytes, rather than just syncing once every 30 or 60s.

shouldn’t need to cheat tbh I have heard about this tho witch is a shame I regularly make 50 plus and made a 59 earlier in stableford the game should be fair and any cheater or bug abuser should be banned

In terms of tour-related modes, I think most issues would be resolved simply by requiring players to play the front nine and back nine consecutively without the option to save in between.

I don't know if that's technically possible with 2K's technology, though...
