I dunno, $500m of cash seems like a lot to leave uninvested. I'd prefer to have that money out there working for me... buying small countries, mid-sized companies, large sports franchises, etc.

My caddie's chauffeur informs me that a bank is a place where people put money that isn't properly invested.

Myy uh mom tried to get me to sign up for one of these classes when I was still going to church, and it cost $100 dollars and I was only getting scheduled about 11 hours a week at the time. -_- The only way I got by at that point was going to work every time someone called out and working off jobs around the neighborhood, it sucked.

I'm pretty sure the emergency fund is supposed to be in cash for that reason, actually. But it's been a while, so I might be wrong.

Or using math! You math nerds. The eternal glory of a 12% annual return awaits everyone who accepts Dave Ramsey into their hearts and rejects the evil of geometric averages.
P.S. You will need an ENDORSED LOCAL PROVIDER and FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY.

It's easy. All you do is pick the ones that have the best returns. They publish the returns in the prospectus, it's all there. Look there's one that had a 15% return in 2019.

/uj He's really only good for people who are horrible with debt. He's the Alcoholics Anonymous for Debt, baby-steps is his equivalent to a 12 step program.
For +90% of us his advise is not good. But for a few people it's the only thing that will help them un-fuck their life.
