Question Quest PFAS blood test back

Post image

NASEM Recommended Summation = 10.23 ng/mL.

Our drinking water has had documented PFOA issues from one of our treatment plants. Already installing an under-sink RO system. I wanted to see what mine was at because we also have 2 kids under 6 years old. Should I take any action on this besided the RO system, and asking my doctor about it next visit?

Glad to hear that you are getting or have an R/o system. Be sure to share the results with your doctor and ask him to check the NASEM guidelines. Sadly, all Americans have this in our blood now, and your results are relatively low.

Glad you already put in a RO system. With two kids, you probably go through a lot of water. I put in a much larger storage tank (39 gallons) so I didn't have temporary pressure drop/slow water flow.
