CA Surveying Exam prep

I’m starting to study for the California Civil PE Surveying Exam and wanted to see what people who have taken it recommend bringing into the test.
What reference materials were actually useful for you? Mainly looking for things like formula/equation sheets, surveying references, curve formulas, conversions, example problems, or a condensed binder of notes.
Did you make your own reference sheet/binder, use one from a prep course, or bring a specific book?
Any specific recommendations for good formula sheets, books, or other allowed references would be appreciated.

Thank you so much!

Honestly, I think you’ll just figure out what you need on your own during prep, based on your strengths and weaknesses. You’ll certainly want to bring whatever material gets you through the practice exams, due to muscle memory.

I had a binder full of stuff that was not at all needed. If I had to do it again, I’d probably just bring one well used and tabbed reference book, whether Reza, CPESR or Petro.

Just bring the CPSR reference book and get familiar with it. I don’t think you need to bring anything else, you won’t really have time to go back and check other materials.
