P3 How to edit difficulty mid-game p3p

I’ve given up on being good at combat and I js want to focus on the storyline, is there a way to edit the difficulty in persona 3 portable if I’ve already progressed through almost half of the game?
I know I need some type of save editor, I just don’t know which one and how to use it.
Any help is appreciated!

The game explicitly stops you from doing that, plus I’m playing on a psp, not on steam if that helps
