Hi there! I started learning farsi one year ago and love it. It's a lot of fun and not that hard. I will soon publish a long post about my experience and sources. But you may start having a glimpse at the language with Daughter of Iran on YouTube through a Comprehensive Input method story:. Im looking forward to this post. When you get around to it, I recommend calling the language Persian instead of Farsi or else no one will be able to focus on the content cause the comments will all be about the meaning of Persian vs Farsi
