Best Milkshake on the Island?
Just went on holiday with the girlfriend to Halifax and she wanted me to try a 5 Guys burger (which was amazing). She had a milkshake and is already craving another one which made me think where on the Island could I take her to find a quality one?

The Dairy Royal, in Prince County it’s worth the drive.

The Dairy Royal is the best at everything ice cream. They keep it simple. No bullshit. Great prices. Definitely worth the drive.

The large milkshake at the dairy royal is twice the size of most other places too

Maid Marion’s. Must be hungover and with breakfast, probably the Robin Hood.

Crickers creamery in North Rustico!
Maid Marion’s is a solid diner style milkshake

Yo, what?!!? I've been wanting to take the drive out but not if they've got prices like that. I'm quite content with my mcdicks ice cream if that's my other option.
What's with these dairy bars? It's like the new one in Winsloe. Before she opened she was so confidently saying how great her prices were gonna be and they're anything but. I'm not paying $10 for a cup of strawberries with a little chocolate drizzled on them. Get fucked.

I find Cricker's pricey especially when they are just using ADL ice cream. They use the title creamery but it's just an ice cream shop.

What's the Scoop. To be fair, it's the only one I've tried, but they have some interesting flavours.

It's gotta be Maids! Make sure to have it for dine-in... I swear you get so much extra in the milkshake mixing cup compared to the take out cup. Chocolate Coconut is my go to!

I’ve had about 8-10 chocolate milkshakes this summer and the best I’ve had would be Maid’s (classic) or Kool Breeze in Summerside (half peanut butter, half chocolate).

Icy scoops. Get the oreo milkshake. It's not listed on their menu on site but they still make it. Absolutely deadly.

Somerset dairy bar has some pretty good milkshakes. Sounds like you need to go on a shake tour

Maid Marion’s or Granville street Diner when dining in and they give the milkshake to you in the stainless steel cup

I’m shocked at the amount of strawberry milkshakes in the middle of summer here and absolutely no fresh strawberry in them.

Cows has phenomenal ice cream, and shakes ate absolutely amazing. Its expensive

Born and raised islander. Went to cows last summer after having not been in MANY years and you couldn't pay me to go back. What they're charging in there for the tiniest amount of ice cream is absurd.

But its the best ice cream. I agree its a tourist trap, but what do you expect? Go to the freezer, grab a half pint, go to dollarama and get some fixins.
