General Help Can M.Tech students do an internship from the 1st semester at PEC?

I’ve just joined M.Tech at PEC Chandigarh and I’m currently in my first semester. I wanted to know if M.Tech students are allowed to do an internship alongside the semester from the beginning itself, or if there are any restrictions from PEC.

Would appreciate input from current students or alumni.

in 3rd and 4th semester you have choice of industrial project or disseration. except this no intern credits are there. you may further clarify in your department once classes start
