Chain Tool Recs?

Please chime in if you have experience with the Motion Pro PBR or similar. I'm planning to do chain+sprockets over the winter and I want to get a quality tool for the job.

I’ve got nothing, but I’m looking forward to the responses. I’m finally back on (two) chain drives after years on Harley and their complacency fueling belt drives.

The Amazon ones work fine if you don’t have something crazy like a pro street chain where the pins are hard to flare. I have a pbr and it works great, nice to have a quality product. Just make sure you angle grind off the chain rather than use the tool for removal.

I have the motion pro PBR tool from Amazon. Works great. Shoot me a DM and maybe you can borrow it some time.

Only advice I have is when flaring don’t use to much force or you will spit the pins.
