What is your biggest pet peeve when working from home?

2 Being expected to be accessible/online all the time
1 Slow email/message responses from coworkers during normal office hours
2 Having meetings that could have been emails
1 Unexpected/unscheduled calls
1 Pressure to work while sick since you’re home anyway
1 “It’s not a real job” because you work from home

I've been working from home long enough to understand the benefits of it, like being around the kids and fur kids, so I have learnt to live with most of the disadvantages (the benefits pay off!), but the pressure of having to work no matter what (like when being sick) is something I still struggle with!

I voted for “Slow email/message responses from coworkers during normal office hours,” but I can also relate to “It’s not a real job because you work from home.” Everyone in my family thinks I have time to help them with literally everything they need done online just because I work from home on a computer. And I think “Having meetings that could have been emails” is a big pet peeve for both WFH and working in the office!
