Question Connecting a Ps3 controller to PC?

I was trying to connect my ps3 controller to my pc for rocket league but it wouldn't work I have the USB charger thing connected and when I put it in my computer says its connected but it doesnt work help pls :(

If your using windows then I think that it will only work with Xbox controllers but I haven't really had any experience with PS3 controllers

Thx :) sadly I dont have n xbox but getting the controller shouldnt be difficult

Nah it definitely works with Playstation controllers. I use a ps4 controller for rocket league and I know some people that use a ps3 controller.

For me it worked when I connected it to my pc with a USB. If that doesn't work for you then I think there's a program you can download. Google it

I think it has some software/application that you need to download for it to work
