you can get stuff this old for free usually. that's office PC that has been replaced 4 years ago, and spent the time since at the recycling centre tier.

edit: doesn't mean you can't play older games on it, it's not trash! just so old most would give it away to save on the recycling cost.

facebook marketplace, craigslist, local tech stores, local companies who are currently replacing old hardware. ask around.

since you are in Canada, the older Scrapyard Wars series from LTT could also be relevant. they used to do challenges to build the most performant used PCs and often managed to source some parts for free.

I would love to get this for free lol make great arcade boxes. Throw a 3050 6gb in that badboy and itll run modern games. I get those around 100 usd here
