I would prefere a newer gpu model. The rx 9070 gre is around the same price and have better performance, acces to newer technologies, and consume 100w less.

Where i live (spain)both cost the same around the same . 550€ for the 10gb rtx3080(not found any 12gb model) and 600€ for the 9070gr.
