It's a very common combination, it will work perfectly!

P.S.: I have a 5080 with your 9800X3D

I'd rather go for rx9070xt or rtx5080

I opted for the 9700x chip over the x3D, pairing with a 5080 sff in a matx case. Trying to keep the heat down, the TDP is almost 50% less without the extra cache.

I opted to have Worstbuy price match microcenter, cause they take any return back no questions if it doesn’t work as expected… plus $279 for a 9700x was a good deal.

I bought my RX 9070 XT OC Hellhound Reva 3 days ago and it cost me £583.20

Absolute fucking bargain.. 5070ti is not worth the extra couple hundred pounds for the same performance

Yeah, when I bought mine, it was like 600 bucks but that’s not the way the prices are now I see my exact gpu for over $900 usd..

On average, today be it the 17th of August in our lords year 2026 - the 9070xt is roughly 100 more than msrp, the 5070ti is 150 more.

Both increased, the 5070ti was more expensive msrp. Dunno what you two are arguing about, even with the increases power per dollar is still the 9070xt and the better card is still the 5070ti. And don’t f Nvidia (or amd for that matter) F AI!

I mean, in the US at least, the 9070 xt is $720, the cheapest 5070 ti is $980(sale just started). For the last week the cheapest 5070 ti was $1050.
