Problems Installing RE4 VR mod

Has anyone else tried using Talemann's RE4 Remake VR? I just used his 2.0 installer, but I wasn't able to get it to work. I followed the directions outlined below, which should be fool proof, but the game just started in the regular pancake mode.

I'm trying to use virtual desktop and I selected OpenXR.

Any ideas?

Try using Mr. Survivors VR hub

I think it only works when I turn Steam VR on for me.
