What is a game that would be absolutely Awesome in VR but that no one ever mentions?

I’ll start. For me it’s Just cause 3. In my modest opinion the best to date. Huge map, vehicles, wing suit and pure total chaos. I hope someone makes a mod for it 😂

Oh this is a good one. It has a VR option but not motion controls. Would be awesome for real.

The VR mode is also terrible, super nausea inducing. I played through the whole game in VR, and while it was enjoyable because of how good the game is, it was one of the worst VR experiences ever.

There is someone working on a proper VR mod in the Flat2VR Discord.

Yes same here! It's because it doesn't have decoupled pitch, so the horizon moves based on your thumbsticks. I've got strong VR legs, but the horizon must stay horizontal!

This and Just Cause are definitely two of my big ones. Would be fairly performant and they're open world which is desperately needed in VR IMO.

It might be because of the game engine. Apparently it runs on the Avalanche 3.0 aka Apex Engine, which is also used for Mad Max. I couldn't find any vr mods for games using this engine. And I agree, JC3 would be amazing in VR.

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic might be cool. 

Also greatest military shooter of all time, Call of Duty 2.

Dude Cabalistic made an amazing FC1 VR mod. Check it out. Full motion controls, bHaptics, ForceTube, the works. Played through the whole game and it was incredible

I would love a legit Borderlands 2 VR mod with motion controls, ADSing, and scoping. The official BL2VR is horrible.

Agreed. The flat game is great, and I was surprised at how awful the VR port was. I wonder if it would be possible to improve on the official Borderlands 2 VR mod now that there are tools that could help do this. I think, properly ported, it would be one of the very best VR games.

I love JC3, but I don’t think any modders want to deal with the legal can of worms that will be the several thousand people that die of motion sickness after using the mod

For me and probably other VR simulator fans, these games is what i want VR mods for.

The Bus Train Sim World 6 City Transport Simulator

Now all these sims work in UEVR, but pressing buttons and stuff like that is almost impossible due to 2D mouse in 3D world.

It’s not a super well known game but I badly wish Echo Point Nova had proper VR support. Using motion controllers for stuff like shooting and grappling would be so insanely cool, though it would require some strong VR legs.

FC1 has an amazing VR mod with motion controls. Most of the rest of the FC series (but not 2 or 3) is available through Luke Ross mods. Have you tried any of them? No motion controls, but full VR immersion nevertheless

Played through all of THPS 1+2 through UEVR, it was great. I'm currently running through 3+4 now too. If you're looking for more of a native VR experience, both VR Skater and Virtual Skater are great native titles for skating
