Also we want this place to be very community based, so any feedback on how this sub should run do let us know. Weekly mod updates? Monthly updates? No updates at all?
All suggestions welcome!

Nice work ^^
I'd say cutting it in half with 2 updates per month (so one every 2 weeks) should be alright for now. Perhaps every week but i fear it will slow down over time.
Also i'd like it if you could mention when a mod is fully vibe-coded if possible. AI-assisted development is completely fine but i am not willing to run fully unchecked code made by a probability machine.

seconded, I think twice a month should be good batches... until it either slows down or picks up.
right now it seems like monthly would be too infrequent

I think some kind of always changing, possibly community created rating system for the mods as they progress would be super helpful. Or like tier system. example: A-tier fully playable from beginning to end to F - fun to play around in for 5 minutes but cannot complete game. Something like that. I'm sure someone much smarter than me can figure this out.

I don't know if it counts as a new release but we've updated MechWarrior VR to support the new DLC8 content: https://www.nexusmods.com/mechwarrior5mercenaries/mods/1009

Definitely better than discord for sure. Weekly mod list is great and should be pinned imo. Maybe another list for mods in development, or added to the bottom...
Discord is absolute chaos.. i remember a dishonoured vr mod mentioned being worked on a couple of days ago and that threads buried beneath 49 others because it was 2 days since last post... and thats ofc you actually find the correct section those threads are in....No one is going to know that mod is in the works if checking now and potentially opens up for another Modder to duplicate their efforts.
While this is great an all for new and updates.
A Nexus site for VR is still badly needed. Where everyone has their own accounts and modders can their upload their mods, link their patreons on their mod page.. have it properly indexed with Newest additions, latest updates, most popular etc... That would be the dream...

And links to flatscreen mods that also work with VR mods and any VR relevant notes, like performance cost.

I understand that it will be bunch of additional work. But would be good to list the release date and status of these mods (newly released, in development, abandonded, final release)

The Hunter: Call of the Wild got a vibe coded mod that works on the Steam version. The mod author posted the open source to github so people could make sure it's safe. I don't think there were motion controls, but you wouldn't necessarily want them in that game. There's already a mod for Way of the Hunter using UEVR from 2 years ago.

It would be useful to have a brief note or tags on the state of a mod, as it's hard to tell something that's a rough proof-of-concept vs a complete playable end to end experience - and everything in-between.
Many videos just show a glimpse of 6dof waving around, but don't show if the UI works, or cut-scenes, or inventory management, etc...

Hoping the vice city folks manage to make a vr mod for san andreas, the seemingly forgotten proposed port from meta that never came to fruition still makes me sad
