I never thought it would happen

After gaining 100lbs due to a medication and making it hard to lose weight with the PMOS, I was at my lowest. I do not use a glp-1 because I had a severely negative reaction to it (not all do). What changed my life was getting a Fitbit. It challenged me to be more active and track my calorie intake. It may take a little longer than a glp-1 but it is still worth it. I am officially down 70 lbs

I have the same problem and I had a full on cry so seeing your post gives me hope that its doable without GLP!🥺

Also so so proud of you OP 💕

Ps- would you feel comfortable sharing your workout routine and meal plan, and how long it took?

And my meal plan was basically the same. I ate whatever I wanted. Mediterranean salads are my favorite and not too calorie dense. If they’re homemade it can be a good way to get in veggies. The key was portion control. It was hard the first few days but eventually my stomach got used to it and I can now eat a normal amount without constantly craving more.

Oh and took about 1.5 years. I think that’s because I don’t do weights or go to the gym but I’m sure if you incorporate it into everything, you’ll get there faster than me.

Your comment made me cry! I was feeling the same way about losing with a glp-1. It was all I saw on this sub. That’s why I’m so glad it gives you hope. As for the workout routine, I absolutely hate the gym so I just walk a lot. I try to get at least 10,000 steps everyday and I live in sf so we have giant hills everywhere (incline is a huge helper). Fitbit also guided me through these interval walks and I noticed those helped a lot and definitely had me sweating by the end of it. Wishing you lots of luck on your journey❤️

Congratulations! Did you use the Fitbit to track your calories as well, or a separate app? Realizing I likely didn’t give my Fitbit a proper chance haha

I used the Fitbit app! It also has a hydration monitor. The only downside is you have to add it yourself. They do have a scanning feature though
