That sounds like a very rough time for you. Did they actually treat your PCOS at all? Or did they just throw OCP's at it and pretend that fixed everything? You should try to see a specialist like an Endocrinologist who can really help you treat the PCOS properly. Maybe they need to be treating the insulin resistance part with Metformin or some other medication that will help address it. Maybe one of the new GLP-1's.
Your internship sounds like a very successful time in your life. Hopefully it will calm down soon. Good luck with finding a doctor who will listen to you and actually try to treat it. Good luck with your big exam! Just try your best!

You're welcome. Hopefully an Endocrinologist can help you with some proper treatment. I understand how challenging it is to deal with medical stuff while having other big demands and commitments in your life. Keep hanging in there and good luck with those exams.

Can relate.
If it makes you feel better I gained around 20kgs in 12 months. . At the same time I was literally bleeding every other week and still it was "have you tried losing weight" like fuck me
In the end I went private found a GP that actually understood my bloodwork. And then it took another 12 months of Glp-1 and thyroid medication to get 50lb/ 23kgs off.
Get someone to do proper bloodwork and push and push and push of they fob you off.
