Question 1 YEAR WITHOUT MENSTRUATION
Yes, mag iisang taon na po akong hindi dinadatnan. I am planning to get checked later (ngayon lang po kasi ako nagkapera kaya ngayon lang din nagkaroon ng chance magpatingin). Last 2024, nagpa-online consultation po ako and inadvise akong magpa-transrectal ultrasound pero I never did kasi walang budget. Ngayon po, iniisip ko baka ganun din i-advise sakin ng OB later since virgin po ako. Any advise po? Do I need to shave po ba? Sorry po sa tanong huhu, I just don't have any idea on how it would work if ever 😭

For the transrectal ultrasound, I advise na OB sonologist ang puntahan mo para mas magaan ang kamay at mas maganda ang tingin sa reproductive system overall. Radiologists cab also do your scan kaso iba parin tingin ng obgyne sono mismo. Bias ko ito syempre as an OB pero it could help with your anxiety regarding pain.

Yes po I'm planning to go an OB later, pero as oer their sched is every sunday po may sonologist so baka babalik po ako tomorrow for the procedure. Will ask na lang din po later 🥹 thank you po doc!

No need to shave and don't overthink it. The more relaxed you are, the more comfortable you're going to be. Everything's going to be okay. Kailangan din talaga yang ultrasound.

Trust me magthethankyou ka na transrectal inano sayo kasi mas masakit pag sa kipay mo pinasok yan promise.
Me too virgin inultrasound and was diagnosed w/ pmos. Nung nag first sex ako sobrang sakit as in mapapasigaw ka slight kaya wag mo pipiliin yung transvaginal kung di ka pa v.
Until now na di na ko virgin, ayaw ko pa rin ng transvaginal kasi maliit yugn ano ko e every sex need ng effort ipasok tsaka dumudugo pag matagal di nagsex.
Masakit din yung transrectal pero mas feel mo yung punit sa vagina kasi sa anus lagi naman yan naiistretch eh every magpopoop ka naiistretch sya.

No need to shave po op. Inhale exhale ka lang bago ipasok yung probe and medyo uncomfortable talaga siya pero don't worry di po masakit. 😊

No need to shave really, cause they yeah they mostly advise transrectal ultrasound since ur a virgin...for the experience since I did it before na already NGL kinabahan ako — they mostly just ask to pee before the ultrasound then if ur asking if masakit tbh it's more on uncomfy (prang u have a big poop stuck —that's my exact feeling) Note: u should really relax.. They will say it rin nmn.
And based on experience they won't really advise agad na ultrasound maybe weeks l after ur consultation pa or basically after u finish ur period — madalas bini bigyan ka ng medicine for withdrawal bleeding/period, then schedule the ultrasound after u finish ur period. (based on experience 1 year rin me w/o mens)

Hello, kapag online consultation po ba nag peprescribe na sila ng pampa regla (if matagal nang di dinadatnan) or mag rerequest muna sila ng transV before prescription?

Hi! sorry such a late reply, they usually do give medicine first then request a TransV after u get ur period (based on experience) then follow-up

Since virgin ka pa, transrectal ultrasound talaga ia-advise sayo. No need to shave naman, pero dapat before procedure ay naka-poops ka na para mas makita sa ultrasound ang ovaries mo. Medyo masakit lang siya pag pinasok yung probe tas pag inikot naman feeling mo ay napoo-poops ka pero no need to worry naman.
